Expected to ship in May.
Dragy’s new OBDII adapter redefines “real-time,”
unlocking instant, high-resolution data drivers have been missing. The Dragy OBD II Adapter is designed to work alongside Dragy GPS, unlocking a deeper layer of performance data. By monitoring and logging ECU signals, it enriches Dragy’s GPS data with detailed vehicle metrics and is fully compatible with Dragy Video Overlay — bringing monitoring, data logging, and on-screen overlays together for a complete racing data experience.

Dragy OBD II adapter is optimized for CAN-protocol vehicles and is highly recommended for cars that use the CAN protocol. Non-CAN vehicles are still supported with standard speed depending on the protocol.
Quick compatibility note: In the U.S. market, OBD-II itself has been mandatory on all light-duty vehicles since the 1996 model year, and the ISO 15765-4 CAN protocol became the required OBD-II protocol for all new vehicles starting with the 2008 model year, though many cars from around 2005–2007 already adopted CAN depending on make and model.
In Europe, the EOBD version of OBD-II has been required since the early 2000s—approximately from the 2001 model year for gasoline vehicles and the 2004 model year for diesel vehicles—with CAN widely used but not mandated by every regulation.
In other regions such as Japan, China, Australia, Brazil, and India, OBD-II or equivalent standards were phased in at different times (e.g., Japan’s JOBD around 2002, China from 2008, Australia from 2006, Brazil from 2007, and India from 2017), so protocol support can vary by market and model.
Compatibility
Works with Multiple Apps
Multi-App Compatible
Dragy OBD II Adapter supports multiple third-party Apps
The adapter works with most apps that support standard BLE OBD II connections. If an app can read BLE OBD data, it should be compatible. If an app doesn't connect: Please reach out to that app's developer/supplier and ask them to add support for the Dragy OBD II adapter. We're happy to assist if they need technical details. (Note: Third-party apps can use standard OBD modes only. Dragy's exclusive Ultra-Fast and Fast modes are available only inside the Dragy app.)
